sharing the care

- Roscommon has the 2nd highest incidence per capita of Alzheimer's in Ireland but yet has no respite care beds for Alzheimer patients

- With a site generously donated & planning permission granted now it comes down to us, the people of the county & surrounds to raise the funds to build the centre.

- This will be a modern purpose built 16 bed respite unit, designed specifically for persons with Alzheimer's, and currently much needed in this county.

  - We are embarking on a major fundraising drive, starting with the hosting of
"Who wants to be a thousandaire" in Kilbride community centre on the 4th April 2009.

  - We are selling adverts at €200 each to be displayed on the night & seen by hundreds of people present and we are also seeking donations.

  - Your Support for this worthy cause would be greatly appreciated and in time many individuals and families will benefit from your generosity
